With the goal of minimizing environmental impact, the company has chosen to offer surface treatments for metals that are as sustainable as possible. All equipment at the facility is designed and built according to the latest technologies and is regularly upgraded to ensure maximum energy efficiency and minimal environmental footprint. The AIA (Integrated Environmental Authorization) obtained in 2014 further confirms this ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability.

By offering alternative surface treatments—such as MOLYKOTE® lacquers or DURAFOSF®—which provide the same mechanical and physical performance as traditional treatments but with a significantly lower environmental impact, Pontoglio Vincenza maintains high-quality standards while providing processes that are genuinely environmentally friendly.

Water Purification Systems for Treatment Plants

To constantly monitor the environmental impact of its chemical baths, Pontoglio Vincenza has installed an automated water purification system designed to minimize pollutants in the wastewater produced by its treatment operations.

This purification system achieves pollutant levels well below the limits set by current regulations. Furthermore, with the addition of an automatic sampler, the company is able to continuously monitor the composition of wastewater and ensure its sustainability.

Renewable Energy for “Clean” Surface Treatments

In addition to advanced treatment systems and automated purification, Pontoglio Vincenza further supports environmental sustainability by using clean energy to perform its phosphating and surface treatments.

A photovoltaic system has been installed on-site, capable of generating 100 kWh, significantly reducing reliance on non-renewable energy sources.
